Tropical Travel Service (formerly Tropical Photo Travel) is a small but dedicated team of Australia specialists.

We are based in Cairns, the "capital" of the Great Barrier Reef. We travel around Australia a lot to collect for you the latest travel infos & more. In the last 3 years, we have been travelling more than 20,000km (12,500miles) around Australia. And since we've got our Landcruiser, travelling got even better!

Compared your local travel agent in Europe (or USA), we've actually been there! We've done Sydney and Ayers Rock, Brisbane and Kakadu, Cairns and Katherine Gorge. We also know a lot of little places in Australia that are not even listed in the Lonely Planet. And we can tell you about the best 4WD tracks as well!

• Don't want to user our shopping cart? - We know that many people don't feel like using a booking form, you can also request info about a tour via our > contact form.
• We'll help you plan your trip: You can book a few days (or even several months) before you leave for Australia. And you can be sure that the tour bus won't leave without you!
• Small group tours: Since we don't like traveling in 50+ busses ourselves, we always tell you about the size of the group before you book.
• Fair pricing: For once, you will know beforehand how much your trip will cost, plus, you will pay the same price as if you were in Australia. No exaggerated taxes, no extra wholesaler commissions. We deal direct with the local suppliers (as far as this is possible)
• Deposit only: For many tours, you don't even need to pay the full price until you actually check in with your tour guide. Usually a deposit of about 15% - 20% is ok to secure a booking.
