Cairns: 4 Day Budget Dive Course

Budget 4 day dive course (PADI Open Water) in Cairns. Includes 2 days pool lessons plus 2 day trips to the Outer Great Barrier Reef.

If you are looking for a cheap and short dive course and you don't want to stay overnight on the Great Barrier Reef, this course is just for you.

Your PADI Open Water Dive Course includes:

• PADI Open water manual in English; other languages available on request
• 2 days training at the dive school (class room and pool)
• 2 day trips to the Great Barrier Reef on a fast catamaran, incl. 4 training dives
• Dive gear (BCD, regulator, dive computer, mask, snorkel, full foot fins, 5mm short arm / leg wetsuit)
• Lunch on day 2 and 3
• Transfers from hotels in Cairns City

Fitness Requirements for Divers

You should be able to tread water for 10 minutes, and to swim 200 metres without gear or 300 metres with snorkel and fins. Some medical conditions can preclude you from diving, including heart disease, asthma, diabetes and epilepsy (better talk to your family doctor before booking).

• Australian Dive Medical: $55 (or bring your own from an Australian Doctor)
• 2 Passport photos (or bring your own)

Departures:

• Day 1 and 2: Pick up 9:00am, Day 3 and 4: Pick up 7:45am
• Returns 4:30pm / 16:30 daily
